Prof. Dr. Hideki Hayashidani, the Institute of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan visited Tra Vinh University

 

On September 26th, 2012, Tra Vinh University had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Hideki Hayashidani from the Institute of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and Dr. Tran Thi Phan, from the College of Agriculture and Applied Biology, Can Tho University.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hayashidani promised to be the contact person to help Tra Vinh University become one of the sister universities of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and establish the relationship between the two universities in terms of student and staff exchange.

On behalf of Tra Vinh University, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh expressed his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Hideki Hayashidani and Dr. Tran Thi Phan for their kindly help to Tra Vinh University and hoped to have chance to collaborate with Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in the near future.

 

After the meeting with the Rector Board and staff of Tra Vinh University, in the afternoon of the same day, Prof. Dr. Hayashidani and Dr. Tran Thi Phan also delivered a presentation on diseases caused by Yersinia and Salmonella bacteria to the instructors and students of Faculty of Agriculture and Aquaculture.
