GUIDELINES FOR RESEARCH GRANTS

The annual CamTESOL conference plays an important role in highlighting research into the teaching of the English language in the region and around the world.  Many research-based papers, after being presented at CamTESOL, are submitted for consideration for publication in Language Education in Asia (LEiA).  LEiA is a peer-reviewed online journal, inspired by the annual CamTESOL conference series.

As in previous years, IDP Education is again coordinating sponsorship to create some research grants for delegates to the 2013 conference. The grants are to support delegates who wish to pursue research that will be written up and presented at the 2014 conference and then submitted for consideration for publication in LEiA.  The next round of grants will be made available to nationals of the following countries: Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Indonesia.
