‘LIFE OF PI” VISUAL ARTS COMPETITION

Hanoi – On the occasion of the World Book Day, the Embassy of Canada and Nha Nam Culture and Communication JSC today announced the visual arts competition based on the novel ‘Life of Pi’ by Canadian author Yann Martel. The competition is open to people aged 15 to 25 years old who after reading the book or watching the film ‘Life of Pi’ visually express the central messages or themes from the book or the film. The visual arts may include, but is not limited to, drawing, painting, photography, graphic design and video. The winner will receive a BlackBerry Bold 9900 generously provided by BlackBerry. Deadline to receive submissions is May 30, 2013.
