(TVU) – In the morning of June 19, 2016, almost 400 participants including local leaders, Vietnam Association of Community Colleges leaders, partners, international experts and volunteers as well as TVU Rector Board, lecturers, staff and students attended the ceremony of 10th Anniversary of Tra Vinh University and15th Anniversary of Community College Model in TVU main campus.
In the opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, TVU Rector said: “We have been making efforts to overcome many challenges in establishment process of Tra Vinh Community College and its development to Tra Vinh University. Thanks to support of higher authorities and determination of TVU Rector Board, managers, lecturers and staff, TVU is now on the right destination.”
The Rector expressed his gratitude to individuals andorganizations for their great contribution to the development of TVU.
Ms. Son Thi Anh Hong, Chairwoman of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Council offers the certificate of merit to TVU
Ms. Dang Thi Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee highly evaluated the efforts and achievements of TVU. “The university plays an important role in human resources development of Tra Vinh province, which contributes to its educational, economic, cultural and social development”, said the Vice-Chairwoman.
