(TVU) – A scholarship award ceremony is held on the evening of October 23 at Hall E21.105 to present 20 scholarships from Mr. Mai Tien Dung and Ms. Thach Thi Kim Lang, each worth 2 million VND, to Khmer students studying at Tra Vinh University who are experiencing financial hardship.
Attending the ceremony are Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Huong, Standing Member and Head of the Department of School-aged Youth and Children Affairs of the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union; Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Standing Member of the Party Committee and Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; along with sponsors and leaders of other departments.
During her remarks at the event, Dr. Thach Thi Dan expresses her gratitude to the sponsors for their assistance in providing Tra Vinh University students with special scholarships. The scholarships offer moral encouragement, partially cover study costs, and enhance the living conditions of overseas students from Cambodia.
As the representative of the scholarship recipients, Nguyen Thi Diem Tho, a student from the Early Childhood Education class of 2021, expresses her sincere thanks to the sponsors and administrators of Tra Vinh University for creating conditions for them to receive such meaningful scholarships. She hopes that challenged students will get more support from sponsors in the future so they can cope with their difficult circumstances and accomplish their schoolwork.
