(TVU) – On the evening of March 24, Mr. Tran Van Trong, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University lighted up with the camping fire on the campus marking the 87th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with the participation of over 3,000 TVU youths.
At the camping site, several attractive activities took place with the impressive performances by TVU students such as music performances, fashion show and outdoor game activities.
Speaking at the event, the Vice Rector highly appreciated the achievements that the youths have obtained during last years. He said: “Young generation continues to cultivate talent and conduct in study as well as in social activity involvement in order to become a good member in society.”
In order to responding Earth Hour campaign, all tents turned off the light since 20h30 along with the message ‘Go More Green” which aims at calling for actions of energy savings for a greener and more sustainable environment.
This year’s camping event took place within two days from March 24-25 with 79 tents along with displaying booths related to local specialty and youth’s business activity.
