(TVU) – During past 10 years up to present, voluntary blood donation activity at Tra Vinh University has been attracting the participation of a large number of its students and staff. The aim of this good action is to contribute to saving patients’ lives.
Ms. Dao Nhu Thao, Vice Chairwoman of TVU Student Association has begun her voluntary blood donation since 2008. She has donated her blood 2-3 times every year.
As a pioneer in this voluntary activity, she expressed: “Blood donation is a very meaningful action which can bring happiness to patients and their families. My relative has been received donated blood; therefore, I am fully aware of the importance of this voluntary activity and I am willing to help patients through donating my blood.”
With such great love to patients, Ms. Dao Nhu Thao has received the certificate of merit by the Chairperson of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee.
