(TVU) – At the beginning of September 2018, Ambassador Cáit Moran and the delegation of Embassy of Ireland to Vietnam paid a working visit to Tra Vinh University (TVU). TVU Vice Rector Thach Thi Dan warmly welcomed the delegation.
Opening the meeting, the Vice Rector said: “The relationship between Tra Vinh University and Irish education partners has been strengthened through academic co-operation programs and scholarships from Embassy of Ireland in Vietnam to TVU lecturers. I hope that TVU faculty members and students will have more opportunities to pursue their higher education in Ireland.”
Addressing at the meeting, the Ambassador said: “The visit is to understand more about Tra Vinh University, especially available training programs and the implementation of the project of supporting Khmer people in Tra Vinh.”
At the end of the meeting, the delegation also visited the traditional handicraft class on the campus, which has received the funding support from the Irish Embassy.
