On April 29, 2021, Tra Vinh University holds a ceremony for receiving sponsorship of solar electric car awarded by Phu Hung Smarthome Solar Power Solution Co.
A solar electric car which was manufactured and completed by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of Phu Hung Smarthome Solar Power Solution Co., an alumnus of Tra Vinh University, and by the company’s staff have just been used. The total amount for producing this car is more than 290 million VND.
The solar electric car is designed including 5 seats, voltage of 72V, 3-phase DC motor, 3KW, speed of 40 to 60 km/h, Largestar Gel battery source of 90ah and the charger of 72V/90A. The car runs while charging with a solar panel installed on its hood. According to Mr. Hung, the distance for a fully charged car can be from 50 to 70 km with a climbing ability of 18%.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung said that Phu Hung Smarthome Solar Power Solution Co. was very pleased to successfully manufacture this high-tech, green and clean product. It would be suitable for a modern lifestyle. The solar electric car was awarded to Tra Vinh University that contributes to environmental protection and builds the image of a “Green University”.
According to Mr. Hung, this product can be used to visit the university’s campus with an area of dozens of hectares but still ensures the moving process.
The solar electric car produced aims to arouse the creativity passion for students of Tra Vinh University. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung believed that Tra Vinh University students will promote their creativity in scientific research and produce many clean energy products which benefit the community in the upcoming day.
Attending and speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of Tra Vinh University expressed his deep thanks to Phu Hung Smarthome Solar Power Solution Co. and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung for sponsoring a valuable and meaningful product by the time of celebrating the 15th anniversary of the university’s establishment.
He hoped that Tra Vinh University and Phu Hung Smarthome Solar Power Solution Co. would have more chances to cooperate in researching and teaching activities contributing to build the image of a “Green University” for the community.
