TVU – On February 18, 2023, Tra Vinh University holds a workshop to introduce “The floating solar system model in small-scale household shrimp farming ponds in Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province”.
The group of authors: Dr. Trần Thị Ngọc Bích, Deputy Director of the Institute of Environmental Sciences & Technology, and MSc. Nguyễn Hoàng Lâm, Lecturer of the Institute of Science, Technology, and Environment, Tra Vinh University reported the initial results of implementing the project of applying the floating solar energy system model in small-scale household shrimp ponds at Duyen Hai district, Tra Vinh province to help farmers reduce costs and increase income.
The research team received many comments and solutions from experts, scientists, managers, and aquaculture households to complete the project. This project is sponsored by Green Innovation Joint Stock Company (GreenIN).

The research team also holds a meeting and exchanges with Aquaculture, Environmental Technology, Resource, and Environmental Management students. In this forum, students learned about the energy source application model, renewable energy in aquaculture, animal husbandry, and shared aquaculture solutions to reduce costs and increase income.

The research team received support from the participants and received many comments from experts, farmers, trainees, and students,… The research team will continue to perfect the project and soon put the model in Tra Vinh province.
