(TVU) – On the evening of September 17, Tra Vinh University organizes an art performance to welcome new students of 2023 and celebrate the successful 8th Congress of the Tra Vinh University Student Association for the 2023-2025 term at Lecture Hall D5.
Attending were Dr. Thach Thi Dan, Member of the Party Committee, Vice Rector of the University; leaders of departments, faculties and centers; leaders of the Trade Union and Youth Union Organization; and over 1,000 students.
Vice-Rector Dr. Thach Thi Dan warmly welcomed the 2023 freshmen and congratulated the successful 8th Congress of the Tra Vinh University Student Association. She highlighted some outstanding achievements by the university’s staff, lecturers and students.
The Vice-Rector expressed her belief that with the determination to “Building aspirations – Strengthening mettle – Being proud to make progress”, generations of Tra Vinh University students will study hard, compete, and train in Youth Union activities, contributing to the university’s overall development.
The art night featured many attractive performances in diverse genres such as duets, chorus singing, contemporary dance, modern dance, etc. expressing the themes of love, homeland and country performed by Tra Vinh University students. Notably, the appearance of singer Dieu Kien made the atmosphere vibrant and warm.
Freshman Nguyen Gia Nghi of the 2023 Preschool Education program shared: “This is the first time I have watched an excellent program performed by senior students to welcome us. I sincerely thank the university for giving me and my friends the opportunity to relax and mentally prepare for the new school year.”
