In the afternoon January 21-2015, Ms. Kate Reekie, Deputy Director of Canadian Development Program of Canadian Embassy in Hanoi leads a delegation to visit Tra Vinh University.
In his welcoming speech, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh reaffirmsCanadian links with TVU over the years. He acknowledges several academic exchange programs with the support of the Canadian Government.
Ms Kate Reekie praises that TVU closely applies the training model of community College in accordance with the Canada Community College system including multi-level and multi-disciplinary model to meet the long life learning demands of the community.
Ms Huynh Mai Thuy Van, Deputy Director of Center for Teaching and Learning said: “Since the development of the program, the University has focused on training models associated with real- businesses situation.”
Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh thanks the delegation for visiting and showing interest in exchange programs.
Academic links between Colleges of Canada and Vietnam have created job opportunities that help improve living standard of the Tra Vinh community.
At the plaque recognized 40 years diplomatic establishment.
