CLEC’s students compete in the eloquence contest “Change for Success”

TVU – On May 9th, The Training Centre of Logistics and E-Commerce of Tra Vinh University (CLEC) organized the eloquence contest with the topic “Change for Success” for students selected from majors such as Economics, E-Commerce, and Logistic Services Management.

In his opening speech, Dr. Le Thi Thu Diem, Director of The Training Centre of Logistics and E-Commerce said: The eloquence contest is an annual contest that helps students improve their communication and presentation skills in front of a crowd, creating opportunities and bridges for students to confidently exchange skills, and at the same time choosing students with eloquence ability to participate in the eloquence contest round at Tra Vinh University.

In the individual contest around the topic “Change for success”, each contestant gave a speech in turn about the content of the lottery for 7 minutes. The jury asked questions about the candidate’s presentation.

Through the individual contest, the contestants conducted a draw to form a team to demonstrate the parallel eloquence between the two teams on the content given by the jury. At the end of the two contests, the jury selected excellent candidates to present and represent CLEC to participate in the competition round at Tra Vinh University.

Nguyen Trong Nguyen, a student of the 2021 Logistics Service Management course said: “Participating in the eloquence contest helps me to be more confident in communication. During the preparation time, I carefully studied the content presented in the contest trying to leave the best impression in front of the judges.”

After a period of lively competition, with his persuasive eloquence skills, Nguyen Trong Nguyen a student of the 2021 Logistics Service Management course excellently won the first prize; Dinh Thi Cam Ly, a student of the 2022 Economics B course ranked second prize; Thai Thi Huynh Nhu, a student of the 2022 E-commerce course achieved the third prize. The organizers also awarded 06 consolation prizes and 02 team prizes to the contestants.
