TVU – On May 25, at Tra Vinh University, the closing session of the evaluation outside of AUN-QA took place for two training programs in Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory.
The evaluation team, in addition to surveying and focusing on studying the university’s documentary evidence, discussed and interviewed the University’s leaders, leaders of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, administrators, and self-assessment writing groups, along with lecturers, students, alumni of two training programs in Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory and interviews with employers, etc. The team also evaluated the facilities, faculty levels, classrooms, experimental areas, and operating equipment,…
Professor Shahrir Abdullah, Head of the delegation, appreciated the strengths and achievements of the training program content, teaching and learning methods, teaching staff, student support service, and facilities.
The evaluation team also made recommendations to help improve the training program. Professor Shahrir Abdullah hopes this assessment contributes to helping the University and other sectors implement better teaching and learning activities that bring more value and experience to learners.
Dr. Đỗ Nhật Phương, Vice Dean of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy, Tra Vinh University, thanked the evaluation team outside AUN-QA, the comments and suggestions of the delegation were the basis for the University and the faculty to identify strengths and weaknesses to enhance the training program quality.
The university acknowledges the comments and suggestions of the external assessment team, continues to plan and propose solutions to improve the quality of the training program, promote the strengths and overcome the limitations, better serve the needs of learners, and affirm the quality of the university on the roadmap of regional and international education quality integration.
