Community College Model in Tra Vinh: Development and Success stories

June 15th, 2021 – Tra Vinh Univerisity hosted a webinar with her distinguished partners from VACC (Vietnam Association of Community Colleges), CICan (Colleges and Institutes Canada), and other institutions and organizations from Canada to share stories of development and success on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of Community College Model, and 15th Anniversary of Tra Vinh University.

This event has more than 50 honorary participants from domestic and international institutions and organizations including VACC, CiCan, Vancouver Island University, Marine Institutes, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, WUSC (World University Service of Canada), Moncton University, Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC). At the seminar, the experts from Marine Institute, Saskatchewan Polytechnic and Vancouver Island University, who are pioneers to join hands laying the solid foundation for the establishment of Tra Vinh Community College and now Tra Vinh University, shared their thoughts on witnessing the growing of TVU since the very first days of establishment.

The webinar consisted of 3 main sessions which provided the participants with the development story of Tra Vinh University from Tra Vinh Community College, how the university faculty has adapted what they have received from Vietnam Canada Community College Project (VCCCP) and the partnerships after the project:
