TVU – On March 21, Consul General of Canada to Vietnam Richard Bale and the delegation visited Tra Vinh University (TVU). Assoc. Prof. Phạm Tiết Khánh, TVU Rector warmly welcomed the Consul General and delegation.

“TVU is friendly learning environment with large and green campuses and spacious buildings. We are impressed by TVU achievements during the past 15 years thanks to the support of Canadian government. From a community college, TVU has made fast development including training scale and number of students”, said Consul General.

Assoc. Prof. Pham Tiet Khanh highly appreciated the Consul General’s visit. The visit confirms the tightened relation between Canada and Vietnam in general; and TVU and Consulate General of Canada to Vietnam in particular.

The Consul General also took this great opportunity to visit Canadian experts and volunteers who have been working in this university.

This was the first time for the Consul General to visit TVU after his inauguration. After the meeting, the Consul General planted trees in TVU campus.
