Consultation on Studying abroad in Vancouver Island University, Canada

On May 28th, 2012, Tra Vinh University (TVU) held a workshop to consulate on studying abroad program in Vancouver Island University (VIU) for students majoring in Business Administration directly presented by Dr. Graham Pike-Dean of International Education, VIU. At the workshop, Dr. Graham Pike introduced more details about the cooperative program, BBA, between VIU and TVU. With this program, students will study the first stage in Vietnam and the second stage at VIU to get Bachelor degree from VIU.

This learning program offers the learners opportunity to reach higher education with lower fee. After graduating with the bachelor diploma from VIU, students may have an opportunity to work in Canada. In addition, the attended students knew more specifically about the English requirements, school fee, housing, part time jobs, etc.
Especially, Dr. Graham Pike also informed that VIU will give one scholarship valued $5,000 for the one with highest scores during his or her two year studying in VIU.
The workshop was very helpful for the students as it can address the questions relating to the training program, living condition and working permit in Canada.

In her speech at the workshop, Ms. Chau Thi Hoang Hoa- Director of International Cooperation in Education and Training (Cicet) gave special thanks to Dr. Graham Pike and encouraged students in the province as well as in other provinces to choose this program to get higher education and to develop their future jobs.
