Degree awarding and Closing Ceremony to Tra Vinh University (TVU) students

On September 29th and 30th, 2012, TVU formally organized Degree awarding and Closing Ceremony to 1,322 graduates included 629 at university level, 419 at college level and 274 at intermediate level. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of TVU participated and awarded diplomas and degrees to the new graduates.

Participating this ceremony, there were the four Vice- Rectors of TVU, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, Mr. Le Van Don, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai and Ms. Thach Thi Dan; representatives of TVU Advisory Council, universities, colleges and enterprises from provinces; press, the students’ parents and TVU students.

In  his opening speech at the ceremony in the morning of September 29th, 2012, Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh, Rector of TVU congratulated the new graduates. He shared with the students  the importance of  reaching to real working environment, he encouraged the graduates for lifelong learning, being confident and not being frustrated if dealing with failure. He also shared that knowledge and experience that they have learned from educational environment help them to deal with issues in life.

In  the speech at the ceremony in the morning of September 30th, 2012, Mr. Vo Hoang Khai, Vice Rector of TVU praised TVU instructors’ devotion in their teaching process and the students’ efforts. During their studying time at TVU, they have had opportunity to learn working styles and basic knowledge on theory and practical skills in accordance with their areas of study to meet society needs.

At the ceremony, the merit graduates Nguyen Duong Thu Nguyet, Ha Tan Luc, Vo Thi My Tien, Le Thi Hien Trang, Son Van Dong, Than Thi Le Hang received their awards and certificates of Merit. There were 14 best college level and intermediate level students. At the ceremony, Vo Thi Bich Viet, the immediate level student of Accounting Class B, Faculty of Economics, Laws and Foreign Languages expressed “After two years, our biggest change is to become more mature and we are equipped necessary skills to be confident to fulfill our prospective jobs”.
