(TVU) – On the afternoon of May 27, Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee handed over the decision to recognize the leadership personnel of Tra Vinh University for the term 2021-2025. Accordingly, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh becomes the Chairman of the School Council; Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa becomes the Rector of Tra Vinh University for the term 2021-2025.
Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People’s Committee, highly appreciated the achievements of Tra Vinh over the past time, recognizing the individual contributions of Assoc. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh for the last term. At the same time, he expected that Assoc. Prof-Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh and other members of the University Council would continue to carry out the assigned tasks, such as: formulating strategies, development plans, joint training plans, science and technology, international cooperation, policies to ensure the quality of higher education, and business cooperation,… Thereby, affirming the role of Tra Vinh University, as well as contributing to the development of TVU in education, economic, culture and social development.
Mr. Le Thanh Binh congratulated the new Rector. He believed that Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa would promote the spirit of internal solidarity, strive to research, approach the work, and organize the implementation effectively. At the same time, he suggested that the leaders, managers and officials of the university should promote the spirit of solidarity and coordinate with Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa to perform the assigned tasks.
Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa was born on January 4, 1979, in Long Duc commune, Tra Vinh city, Tra Vinh province. He’s got a PhD in Applied Science and Engineering. At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa expressed his deep gratitude to the Board of Directors, provincial leaders, lecturers and students. He promised to keep on developing the model of the University.
