In the afternoon of October 20, 2011, Dr. Valerio B. Cabalo-Vice President of Southern Leyte University, Philippines and the delegation came to visit and worked with Tra Vinh University (TVU). Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung – Vice Rector of TVU and heads of related offices welcomed Dr. Cabalo and the delegation at Campus I.
Southern Leyte University is a public university formed in 1969. It trains various levels from two- year college to Master with different fields such as Management, Teaching English, Mathematics, nature Science, etc. The two institutions have a few similar training fields such as Agriculture & Aquaculture, Pedagogy, Civil Engineering, Electrician in which Agriculture & Aquaculture research will be ideal for their cooperation.
On behalf of TVU Rector Board, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung expressed his delight to welcome the delegation from Southern Leyte University and desired to have long-term cooperation between the two institutions. The visit has helped the two universities with deeper understanding and promised a good future cooperation.
