Exchange training cooperation in Cambodia

TVU – On June 27th, Dr. Ngo So Phe, the Rector of the School of Southern Khmer Language – Culture – Arts and Humanities at Tra Vinh University, and the delegation have a meeting and exchange with the leaders of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Kingdom of Cambodia. Ms. Yim Pich Malika and Ms. Lay Phallin, the Deputy Director General of TVET, receive the delegation.

During the meeting, Dr. Ngo So Phe shares the university’s training programs, especially those that meet international education quality accreditation standards such as AUN, FIBAA, ABET, and the new industries of the university. She hopes for cooperation in expanding human resource training in all industries that Tra Vinh University offers, to meet the diverse needs of the labor market in Cambodia.

Ms. Yim Pich Malika mentions that Mr. Hing Sideth, the Director General of TVET, visited TVU in October 2022. This serves as a favorable basis for both sides to discuss long-term cooperation and specific human resource training programs that will bring positive value to the labor community in Cambodia.

On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Ngo So Phe expresses hope that both sides will continue to exchange specific content on training programs and cooperation projects, and sign a cooperation agreement as soon as possible at Tra Vinh University. She expresses gratitude to Director General Hing Sideth and the TVET delegation for their warm and friendly reception.

The meeting is attended by Mr. Prak Chanthoeurn, the Deputy Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, Mr. Tes Rukha Phal, the Secretary-General of the Coordinating Committee for the Settlement of Strikes and Demonstrations (Cambodia), and Mr. Sam Soeun, the Chairman of the National Confederation of Trade Unions.
