On February 13, 2012, Faculty of Economics, Laws and Foreign Languages held a seminar with the topic “Learning methods at university” for students majoring in Economics.
The seminar was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung- Head of Economics- Business Administration, Mr. Nguyen Hong Ha- Head of Finance and Banking Department, Mr. Le Trung Hieu- Head of Accounting Department, other lecturers of the Faculty and over 100 students.
At the seminar, with her knowledge of major in International Business Adm inistration and her learning experience at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada, Ms. Chelsea Behane shared some valuable things with TVU students. She talked about her difficulties in her first years at university and how she overcame them. She also shared effective self-studying ways, some popular learning methods in the major of economics and how to get some soft skills at university. Concurrently, the students attended the seminar also received some learning experience on reading major books, English communication, etc. from lecturers teaching the major of economics and seniors of the Faculty.
The seminar is an opportunity for students to share and to exchange of learning methods at university and it can help them find the appropriate ways for their learning process at Tra Vinh University.
