(TVU) – On August 29, 2016, Prof. Chyi-Ren Dow, Dean of College of Information and Electrical Engineering, Prof. Pei Liu, Head of Department of International Trade and the delegation of Feng Chia University, Taiwan paid a visit to Tra Vinh University.Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung, TVU Vice Rector warmly welcomed the delegation.
At the meeting, the two universities have discussed on collaboration opportunities and orientation in research and training including 2+2 programs of Electricity, Electronics and Information Technology.
Dr.Nguyen Tien Dung expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the visit and effective discussion about collaboration opportunity between the two universities.
“Education always plays a very important role in our life. I believe we can seek and co-operate in some fields to bring benefits to our community”, said the Vice Rector.
Prof Pei Liu expressed his pleasure for the hospitality of Tra Vinh University and he said Feng Chia University is willing to co-operate with Tra Vinh University for human resource development. Taking this great opportunity, the delegation selected and offered four PhD scholarships in 2017 to TVU staff.
After the meeting, the delegation provided information about programs and learning environment at Feng Chia University to students of the School of Economics and Law, TVU.
