The contest organized by the Youth Union – Student Union of Tra Vinh University and chaired by the Communication Club, took place from August 16 to August 27, with the companionship of the Vietnam Student Development and Support Center.
The contest attracted a large number of participants, with 18 contestants participating in the semi-finals to select the 12 most talented contestants for the final round. This activity is in the activities in the series of events of the “Uni – Tour” program organized by the Central Vietnam Student Association at Tra Vinh University from August 15 to August 27, 2022.
The final round judges have experienced faces in the field of MC, such as Journalist Ho Ba Thi, Deputy Head of Economic – Culture – Social Department (Tra Vinh Newspaper); Mr. Le Hoang Liet, Radio Vien – TV MC of Tra Vinh Radio and Television Station; Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department; Ms. Huynh Diep Nhu, Deputy Head of Tourism Department; Ms. Tieu Cam Anh, Lecturer at the School of Medicine and Pharmacy; along with a team of coaches who are professional MCs who are currently working in Ho Chi Minh City and Tra Vinh – MC Thanh Viet, MC Ngoc Tram, and MC Gia Huy.
Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of Student Affairs Department, Head of the Jury shared: The contestants have completely “makeover” and made great progress since the preliminary round. The judges hope that everything the contestants are guided by the coaches during practice will help them become more and more confident in themselves.
Mr. Le Hoang Liet, Radio Vien – TV MC of Tra Vinh Radio and Television said: The contestant’s part had a serious investment in scripting and staging, and many mysterious factors were revealed. currently and will be further fostered by the organizers and coaches to become a professional MC in the future.
In the end, contestant Nguyen Nhut Huy, a student of the Class of Veterinary Medicine B class, class 2021 excellently won the Champion prize. At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 runner-up, 02 Quarterly prizes, and 08 Consolation prizes with 01 most voted contestant and 01 contestants with the best voice.
