Finding Student Cooperatives Leaders of Tra Vinh University

(TVU) – On March 25, 2022, the final round of the “Student Cooperatives Leaders of Tra Vinh University” contest took place at Campus 1, Tra Vinh University. This contest aimed to find those who are enthusiastic and can manage and operate the Student Cooperative of Tra Vinh University.

After nearly a month of launching, the contest “Student Cooperatives Leaders of Tra Vinh University” attracted the participation of 49 candidates. The final round had a competition of 11/49 excellent candidates with Passionate about business and looking forward to trying out in the management field. Participating in the Final Round, each contestant has 5 minutes to present “Student Cooperative Development Orientation” and 10 minutes to critique before the Jury Council.

The final round was successfully held in an exciting atmosphere. The contestants defended the development orientation of Student cooperatives in front of the Jury Council. The Jury Council has selected six excellent candidates to become members of the Board of Administrative Council, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Board of the Student Cooperatives.

Le Phuc Khang, a student of the Sports Management University class of 2020, won the first prize in the contest. Pham Binh Nguyen, a student of the Literature and Language Education University class of 2019, won the Second Prize in the contest. The third prize belongs to Nguyen Thi Huynh Nhu, a student of the E-Commerce University Class of 2019. The Consolation Prize went to Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu – a student of the Business Administration University Class C of 2021, Mr. Huynh Cong Thai – a student of the Automotive Technology B class of 2020 and Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu – a student of the Business Administration University B class of 2020.

The winner of the contest, Phuc Khang, said: “The contest is an opportunity for me to experience business activities, thereby helping me to improve their capacity more, to go further in the business field. To get this achievement, I have to spend a learning process. Beginning from participating in business activities, learning about the Law on Cooperatives to building a future orientation for cooperative development.”

Mr. Nguyen Van Vu An – Secretary of Doan Truong, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, said: “The contest is a place to compete, marking confidence and enthusiasm in business activities. This is also an opportunity for students to assert themselves and become core members of the Board of Administrative Council, Board of Directors, and Supervisory Board of the Student Cooperatives.”
