Contest “Youth Go Green” hold by Tra Vinh University in collaboration with Women’s Leadership Academy for YSEALI Alumni Network, Zero Waste Malaysia, sponsored by US Mission to ASEAN.
“Youth Go Green” is a media campaign operated as an online competition that aims to encourage students at all ages to take action toward protecting the surrounding environment in daily life and spread messages of environmental protection to the community by submitting drawings and videos conveying the message of protecting the environment. Honorary Judges for Youth Go Green are experts working on environmental related issues from Australia, Malaysia and Vietnam
The target audiences of the competition are students of all ages from Primary to College/University level in Vietnam.
Paintings and videos cover the following issues:
? Record beautiful actions, preserve living environment and public places;
? Give initiatives or solutions to reduce waste and protect the green earth;
? Give Initiatives or solutions for waste separation at home and in the community;
? Criticize acts of littering in public places, other types of environmental law violations.
The summary score is calculated as follows: Average points of the 3 judges (Australia, Malaysia, and Vietnam) and the interaction score on the Fanpage. Criteria for voting in the form of like / react and share posts in public with #hastag.
