<\/p>\nTra Vinh University strengthens a decade-long partnership with Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), Philippines, by welcoming eight interns for a cultural exchange program.<\/b><\/p>\n

Welcoming the delegation are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of TVU; Mr Le Phong Vu, Vice Principal of Nguyen Thien Thanh High School for the Gifted; and representatives from university departments.<\/p>\n
The SLSU delegation includes Dr. Leslie Elisa S. Cobilla, lecturer, and 8 students pursuing Bachelor\u2019s degrees in Elementary and Secondary Education with majors in English, Social Sciences, and Physical Education at SLSU.<\/p>\n
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Diep Thanh Tung, Vice Rector of TVU, highlighted the well-established partnership between the universities, which has lasted over ten years. Dr. Tung emphasized the program\u2019s benefits, which allow students to gain academic and research experience, immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture, and broaden their skillsets for future careers.<\/p>\n

Emelle Justin A. Adcor, a participating SLSU student majoring in English Secondary Education, shared her enthusiasm for learning teaching methods, research practices, and extracurricular activities at TVU. Adcor also expressed interest in exploring Vietnamese culture, including local cuisine and traditions.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, the delegation attended a cultural orientation session and toured the Tra Vinh University campus. During the internship, the students will gain valuable hands-on experience at their assigned locations within TVU.<\/p>\n
