TVU \u2013 On November 18, 2024, as part of the opening ceremony celebrations for the 2024-2025 academic year, Tra Vinh University (TVU) hosts a cultural exchange program, awards academic scholarships totaling over 3.5 billion VND to students, and honors individuals and groups for outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n

Supporting TVU students<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the 2024-2025 academic year, TVU welcomes 3,259 new students across 43 undergraduate and college programs. This includes 26 international students from Cambodia, bringing the total international student population to over 100. This cultural exchange creates a diverse and dynamic learning environment, offering young people opportunities to develop communication skills, teamwork, and adaptability internationally.<\/p>\n

  • Valedictorian Duong Ngoc Bao Han (a former student of Tra Vinh Pedagogical Practice School), admitted to Law program, receiving awards and scholarships worth 23 million VND<\/li>\n
  • Salutatorian Huynh Ngoc Quy (a former student of Ho Thi Nham High School, Cang Long district), admitted to Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology program, receiving 15 million VND in awards and scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, former Politburo Member, former Deputy Prime Minister, former Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, and current National Assembly Deputy of the 15th Legislature \u2013 Ho Chi Minh City constituency, presents the Professor Nguyen Thien Thanh Scholarship to TVU students<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

    TVU also provides:<\/p>\n

    • Two full scholarships for Cambodian students covering tuition and dormitory fees:\n

      • 71.6 million VND (Medical program)<\/li>\n
      • 61.9 million VND (Pharmacy program)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Living allowances for eight Laotian students totaling 84 million VND<\/li>\n
      • Recognition awards for nine students with outstanding achievements in national and international competitions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
