TVU – On August 14, 2015, Mr. Patrick Marren, the Deputy Director at Kimmage Development Studies Center (DSC), Ireland visited Tra Vinh University (TVU). Ms. Thach Thi Dan, TVU Vice Rector warmly welcomed the delegation.
The visit was to discuss and promote collaboration opportunities including student and staff exchange between Kimmage DSC and TVU.
Mr. Patrick Marren was impressed by a large number of TVU students and variety of disciplines as well as training modes.
“Tra Vinh University is an interesting university with Gender and Community Department and Center for Climate Change Adaptation Research and Community Development Support. Kimmage DSC also researches and offers courses on social development, gender and climate change”, said Mr. Patrick Marren.
He hopes the Center to become TVU’s strategic partner.
