Launching the program “Incubating start-up ideas”

On November 7, 2021, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship has held the opening of the program “Incubating startup ideas” with an online form via Google Meet. The Organizing Committee has selected 35 ideas with nearly 100 students participating in the program.

“Incubating start-up ideas” is an accelerated training program for 2 months, in order to maximize support for students with startup ideas to develop into startup projects. After that, the program will continue connecting with units that support and promote startups so that startup projects can be implemented in reality.

The program started with an inspiration session – generating ideas from businesses that have ever started a business. At the inspirational session, the students listen to Mr. Luong Manh Duong – Director of the Student Cooperative of Tra Vinh University; Director of Hung Duong Coconut Production Company and Mr. Ngo Dinh Khai – CEO of CKC Vietnam Production and Trading Co., Ltd. share about the start-up journey, advantages, difficulties, and lessons learned as well as advice for students with startup ideas.

The session of inspiration – idea generation inspires the students to be more confident on entrepreneurial paths, and they ask many questions to the guests about start-up issues such as capital to start a business, how to find customers, how to evaluate good ideas, what to prepare before starting a business, …. Especially the inspirational session – seeding ideas initially suggests, stimulates and orients innovative ideas for students.
