TVU – The contest “Elegant Students – Mister & Miss TVU” extended in 2023 officially kicks off on May 12th and starts a journey of more than 30 days in search of beautiful faces “Morality- Intelligence- Health – Beauty ” of students of Tra Vinh University and students of colleges and universities in the Mekong Delta region in the new era.
On the night of May 24th, the contestants begin the first night of the pre-qualification exam on the way to conquering the “Beauty of knowledge” among students at the “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” expanded contest in 2023.
The contest is chaired by the Youth Union – Students’ Association of Tra Vinh University to practically establish achievements to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the establishment of Tra Vinh University (June 19th, 2006 – June 19th, 2023) and 22 years of implementing the community college model.
Continuing the tradition from the previous “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” contests, this year’s contest has the theme “Beauty of knowledge” with the goal of finding and honoring the intellectual, fresh, radiant beauty, along with the confidence and dynamism of the students, contributing to promoting the beauty and image of the male and female students of Tra Vinh University as well as colleges and universities where students are studying.
According to information from the organizers, the contest “Elegant Students – Mister & Miss TVU” in 2023 expands with the entire Mekong Delta region and launch from May 2023 to June 2023. The preliminary round takes place on May 24 and May 25, 2023, in Hall E21.105.
The talent competition round will be held on June 2nd and June 3rd, 2023, in Hall E21.105. The final night of honoring and awarding the contest will schedule on June 17, 2023, at Lecture Hall D5, Tra Vinh University.
Many activities on the sidelines of the contest such as the preliminary round, training, and searching for students’ talents, especially the beauty of the contestants when participating in the contest will be recorded and posted on social networks for the contest closer to the students
Students will train themselves in the face of many challenges: practice performance skills, interview skills, participate in photography activities, etc. During the time of participating in this contest, the contestants must ensure their studies at the university while maintaining a fresh and radiant physical condition when participating in the competition.
Participating in the preliminary round, the contestants were tested on anthropometric indexes of height and body shape, and stage performance skills, introducing themselves, and presenting their personal views on the topics of organizers. At the end of 02 nights of the pre-qualification exam, the jury will choose the 20 best candidates to move on to the Talent competition.
The award “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” this year includes the title: Miss TVU, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, Mister TVU, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, consolation prizes, and other prizes: Best Talent, Best Interview, Best Traditional Costume Contestant, and Best Impressive Sports Performance Contestant.
