On November 9, 2020, students from the Faculty of Economics – Laws, Tra Vinh University held the 7th mock trial, attracting the participation of a large number of students and lecturers.
The trial attracts the participants of Lawyer Tran Van Si – Director of STDT Law Ltd., Mr. Tran Minh Tri, General Director of An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company, Ms. Thach Thi Dan, TVU Vice-Rector, teachers, and more than 300 students. 
At the mock trial, law students of Tra Vinh University played roles such as Judge, Chairman of the Trial, People’s Procuracy, lawyer, defendant, etc, conducted the first-instance trial of a criminal case. The legal preparation and formality of this mock trial are evaluated high. The trial not only helps students practice, learn skills such as litigation skills, court administration skills, law practice skills, but is also an opportunity for students, teachers to exchange, share experiences and knowledge in the process of research and learning.
Director of STDT Law Ltd., Lawyer. Tran Van Si gives many comments and suggestions in criminal proceedings, helping students to draw many lessons before going to the official court.
Through the trial, TVU students learned practical legal knowledge and also multidimensional perspectives on social issues. Besides, the Law teachers summarized the lessons as well as answer questions of the students in the legal field.
On this occasion, TVU Vice-Rector, Ms. Thach Thi Dan signed a memorandum of understanding between TVU and STDT Law Ltd., An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company to support teaching and learning for students, contribute to improving the quality of law training.
