On December 20, 2020, at Tra Vinh City Central Park, more than 500 TVU staff excitedly participate in the Olympic day for the Health 2020 organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh province and the People’s Committee of Tra Vinh City.
This time Olympic day attracted more than 2000 athletes who are cadres, civil servants, officials, the armed forces, students, and all people class in Tra Vinh city.
The Olympic Day is an annual sports activity launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to promote the campaign “All people exercise bodies according to the Uncle Ho”.
Aim to contribute to raising awareness of the role, meaning, and effects of physical exercise and sports in protecting and improving health, improving quality of life, building healthy lifestyles, and promote the movement “Healthy to establish a career to protect the country” in the youth of the province.
Launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh province sent a calling message for everyone to actively participate in the physical practice trend and sports, improve the health to contribute to the cause of building and defending the country.
After the launching ceremony, all athletes start to complete the 1,500m walk and run on the main roads in Tra Vinh city with a length of 2km.
