During the 14 day long activities, 16 SUT students and 18 TVU students were divided into six groups to make surveys about environment in TVU. Then they planned to improve environment as well as enhance awareness to everyone in environment protection.

These students took a trip to high schools to help them plant trees and hold seminars on green environment.

“The activities of this project make TVUgreener. One of useful ways of environment protection is to reuse waste resources. The activities help the students of the two universities learn different cultures of Vietnam and Australia”, said Student Gamil Yeung, SUT.

“The program helps me improve my English and be more confident through communicating with international friends. I really enjoy activities for environment protection including painting and garbage picking as well as helping families to harvest purple onions and beans. These activities also teach me how to usefully protect environment”, Student Kien Thi Cam Tien of TVU expressed.

With the good outcomes of this project, TVU and SUT continued to sign MOU for further environment protection.
