(TVU) – On the afternoon of November 10th, the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University, in collaboration with the Party Committee of the Centrally-Run Businesses’ Sector of Tra Vinh, opens a political theory training class for Party admission candidates at the Conference Hall of Tra Vinh Laboratory School.
Attending the opening ceremony, representing the leadership of the Party Committee of the Centrally-run Businesses’ Sector of Tra Vinh, were Comrade Tran Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy Party Committee secretary; Comrade Duong Binh Phuong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of propaganda and training commission of the Centrally-run Businesses’ Sector of Tra Vinh.
From the Party Committee of Tra Vinh University, there are Dr. Phan Quoc Nghia, Party Committee Member, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University; Comrade Quach Thi Vu Hue, Party Committee Member, Head of the Propaganda and Training Department and Mass Mobilization department; Comrade Nguyen Van Long, Party Committee Member, Head of the Party Committee Office, along with 148 outstanding participants who are members of Party units and cells under the TVU’s Party Committee.
In the opening speech, Comrade Tran Thi Kim Phuong, Deputy Party Committee secretary, stated: “Training, fostering, and developing new Party members is one of the important tasks in Party building, aiming to enhance awareness of political theory, Party viewpoints, policies, laws of the State. These help participants improve their understanding of political theory, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh.”
Thereby, fostering self-cultivation, cultivating ethics, actively participating in activities, being ready to receive and excellently fulfill any tasks assigned by the Party organization, agencies, and units, helping participants build proper motivations, and actively striving and training themselves to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Comrade Tran Thi Kim Phuong suggested that the participants uphold a sense of responsibility, study seriously, strictly adhere to class regulations, proactively research additional materials, enhance exchanges in the classroom, and absorb the lectures to achieve the highest effectiveness.
The training class will take place for 3 days, from November 10th to November 12th, 2023. The participants will study and research 5 topics under the guidance of the Central Propaganda Committee: A brief history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; The guidelines for building the country during the period of transition to socialism; The fundamental content of the Charter of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; Striving to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
In addition, the participants will also be provided with basic information about the organization and activities of the Party, guidance on writing personal biographies for Party admission, and other related procedures.
At the end of the course, the participants will be evaluated through a multiple-choice examination to obtain a certification, which will serve as a basis for Party committees at various levels to consider admitting them into the Party.
