TVU – Tra Vinh University has entered the world’s Top 200 green universities with sustainable development – according to UI GreenMetric Ranking; Top 100 universities with positive influence and contributions to society, the value of entrepreneurship and innovation, digital transformation and expansion of cooperation, international student exchange – according to WURI Ranking. Tra Vinh University has determined that training quality human resources, associated with practice, serving the development of the Mekong Delta and The whole country is one of the key tasks.

 Tra Vinh University enrolls students nationwide, the enrollment code is DVT, and enrolls 52 undergraduate majors with about 8,000 targets in 2023, the enrollment methods are expected to be as follows: Enroll high school academic results (Record report) ); enroll the results of the high school graduation exam in 2023; enroll the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Direct admission by the Regulations on enrollment issued by the Ministry of Education and Training; Admission of students to the School of Pre-University – Tra Vinh University, Ethnic Preparatory School.

Enrollment for 10 doctoral majors, 24 master’s degrees, and 05 Specialist Level 1: Internal medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Odonto – Stomatology.

The university focuses on investing in many specific industries, expanding new industries in the direction of diversification, linking the business community and the demand for quality human resources, and serving economic and social development in the region: in terms of energy, electricity, ports, sustainable agriculture, fisheries, climate change adaptation, health science, engineering – technology, economics, culture, tourism, biotechnology, environmental management, logistics, artificial intelligence…

The university pays attention to improving training quality and breaking through international integration in training and research activities, especially in international education quality assurance activities for training programs. 

Up to now, TVU is one of the top universities in the Mekong Delta with many programs that have achieved international education quality accreditation according to the standards of AUN-QA, FIBAA, and ABET with 13 international quality accredited programs, in which 05 training programs meet international education quality standards AUN-QA: Agriculture, Aquaculture, Veterinary, Nursing, and Khmer language. 07 FIBAA international educational accreditation programs: Business Administration, Economics, Law, Accounting – Finance-Banking, Master of Business Administration, Master of Economic Management, Information Technology (ABET accredited). TVU is continuing to expand international education accreditation AUN, ABET, and FIBAA for the rest of the majors.

Various good policies for students

TVU always has many good policies towards learners such as the 100% tuition fee waiver for students of pedagogical majors (according to Decree 116 of the Government) and the School of Traditional Instrument Performance; Granting scholarships for female students (equivalent to 50% of the course fee) studying Engineering and Technology; Scholarships from sponsors for students who overcome difficulties, scholarships to encourage study; Policy to support students in scientific research; Support students to start-up loans and implement policies for poor students, ethnic minority students, policy students and students from disadvantaged groups according to current regulations. 

TVU is also a place to sow new ideas in scientific research and startups, connect students with businesses, and create job opportunities for students. The university focuses on developing the invention space among students and lecturers – the maker space, developing student research groups – IEEE Student Chapter, student cooperative models, and student farmer associations, along with policies to encourage the incubation of startup ideas, applied scientific research, and technology transfer to serve the community.

Students are free to use the resources to support learning. The dormitory is located on a green, clean, beautiful, safe, and comfortable campus with a capacity of 3,500.
