(TVU) – On the morning of October 29th, 2021, Tra Vinh University holds a meeting to review the activities and develop strategic orientations of the Gender and Community Department in the current new stage in order to further strengthen its role in the school and community.
On the morning of October 29th, 2021, Tra Vinh University holds a meeting to review the activities and develop strategic orientations of the Gender and Community Department in the current new stage in order to further strengthen its role in the school and community. At the meeting, the Board of Rectors and 28 leaders representing departments and divisions highly appreciated the recent activities of the Gender and Community Department with the goal to serve the community, ensure gender equality and preserve culture of ethnic minorities, especially the Khmer’s one. Then the leaders participate in the discussion and give valuable ideas and suggestions to develop the strategic plan for the period 2021 – 2025 on gender and ethnicity of the University.
The meeting shows the interest and enthusiasm of leaders and officials in gender and ethnic affairs, contributing to social and community development. The future strategic plan for the Gender and Community Department is expected to diversify meaningful activities and connect with domestic and foreign partners, organizations, and universities.
