On January 4, 2012, at Campus IV, the teaching competition was held with the attendance of Mr. Vo Hoang Khai- Vice Rector of TVU, Head of Organization Board, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha- Vice Dean of Pedegogy Faculty, lecturers of the Faculty and 204 Senior students.
The teaching competition was held annually by the the Pedagogy Faculty for the Senior students before their practicum in order to help them have a preparation and lecturers have more evaluation on their students’ qualification and skills.
The competition had the participation of 77 students of Primary Education, 86 students of Early Childhood Education and 41 students of Physical Education. The participation teams competed in different forms such as musical performance, pedagogical understanding, problem solving, gifted performance, teaching, visual aids making and public speaking.
In his opening speech at the Competition, Mr.Vo Hoang Khai emphasized that this competition would help the Senior students of Pedagogy perform their knowledge competence, teaching skills to make a good foundation for their praticuum in primary schools and kindergartens. Although the major of the participants is different, the competition helps the participants exchange experience. He hoped that the participant teams would perform their knowledge and teaching skills when paticipating and suggested the Evaluation Board should be fair and objective.
The Competition lasted from January 4th, 2012 to January 6th, 2012. In the afternoon of January 4th, the teams would begin their teaching competition.
