School of Economics and Law welcomes 2023 freshmen

TVU – More than 500 freshmen of the class of 2023 as well as representatives of previous classes are welcomed during a meeting held by Tra Vinh University’s School of Economics and Law. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen—Rector of the School of Economics and Law—along with speakers, business partners, parents, and lecturers also gather to congratulate the new students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen, Rector of the School, giving a speech to welcome new students and express gratitude to partner units and businesses for supporting the school.

In his welcome speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Nguyen welcomes and congratulates the new students for being admitted and officially becoming students of Tra Vinh University in general and students of the School of Economics and Law in particular.

According to the rector, this university environment aids students in the development of knowledge, skills, and career thinking, enabling them to realize their dreams and ambitions. Moreover, a university is more than just a place to study; it’s also a place to meet people, learn new things, and grow as a person.

The administrators of the School of Economics and Law expect that freshers will arrive with the self-assurance and dynamism necessary to quickly adapt to their new surroundings. This is a fantastic chance for them to actively interact and establish relationships with professors during the study and research process in order to hone their abilities, gain practical experience, and get the best possible results.

The School of Economics and Law also recognizes and congratulates students from prior classes for their excellent performance in academic and extracurricular activities.

The welcoming program for freshmen of the 2023 class of the school has received valuable contributions from local partners, including Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank – Tra Vinh branch, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank For Industry And Trade – Tra Vinh branch, Thai Hai Law Co., Ltd. – Tra Vinh branch, Phan Muon Bailiff’s Office, along with Mr. Huynh Tan Khuong—lecturer at the School of Economics and Law.

The school grants a total of 81 Study Encouragement Scholarships to current students and newcomers, including 16 for the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year and 09 to support the valedictorians of each major. The total value of the scholarships and gifts is 29 million VND.
