Signing a cooperation agreement for training in Accounting under the co-op model

TVU – On October 27, 2022, Tra Vinh University signed a cooperation agreement with 14 enterprises in and outside the province to deploy training in the field of Accounting under the Co-op model.

The ceremony took place at Tra Vinh University with the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diệp Thanh Tùng, Vice Principal of the University; Ms. Dương Ngọc Bích, Deputy Director of the Center of Excellence in Learning Resources and Innovation; Leaders and lecturers of the Accounting Department under the School of Economics and Law, and representatives of students majoring in Accounting.

On the side of businesses, there are Mr. Trần Thiện Thuật, Director of Tactical Accounting and Tax Consulting Co., Ltd; Mr. Lâm Xuân Minh, Director of People’s Credit Fund in Nhi Truong Commune, Cau Ngang District; Mr. Thạch Ngọc Bích, Store Manager of the Central Trade and Service Co., Ltd. Branch; Mr. Văng Minh Thuận, Director of An Thinh Trading and Accounting Services Company Limited; Mr. Phạm Minh Hoàng, General Director of Tra Vinh Urban Construction Joint Stock Company.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diệp Thanh Tùng expressed his gratitude to the partner businesses for accompanying the University in training human resources under the Co-op model, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, as well as contributing to the providing highly skilled human resources in the field of accounting to serve the needs of the country in general and Tra Vinh province in particular.

Mr. Trần Thiện Thuật confided: In recent years, the Company has paid great attention to cooperation activities in human resource training, especially the Co-op training model. The training connection between businesses and the University contributes to improving job opportunities after graduation as well as helping learners to meet the requirements of businesses.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diệp Thanh Tùng, along with representatives of business leaders inside and outside the province, signed an agreement on cooperation in implementing accounting training under the Co-op model at the university level. The parties highly appreciated the contents of the memorandum of cooperation, the terms oriented towards common and practical benefits for Students – Schools – Enterprises, together bringing value to the community.

The co-op program stands for Enterprise Cooperation Training Program – a training model with the direct participation of Enterprises, Schools, and Students with the motto “For the benefit of students, for the sake of community connection, for a learning program associated with occupation and experience”.
