TVU – On May 30, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Tra Vinh University (TVU) and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Tra Vinh Branch (Vietcombank) took place at Tra Vinh University.
At the signing ceremony, on the side of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Tra Vinh Branch, there was Mr. Do Thanh Ly – Deputy Director in charge of Banking Operations, Mr. Trang Van Ut – Deputy Director of the Bank, the leaders and members of Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam.
On the side of Tra Vinh University, there was Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diep Thanh Tung – Vice-Rectors of Tra Vinh University, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Nhung – Deputy Head of the Department of Planning and Finance, Ms. Tieu Ngoc Linh – Deputy Head of the Department of Planning and Finance, leaders and officials from the units of the University.
According to the signed content, Vietcombank and TVU agreed to cooperate in research, training, quality improvement of resources, in-depth scientific research, and issues related to many fields, such as finance and interbank products, services, and local business research. The two sides cooperate in organizing seminars, scientific conferences, and scientific research projects. Coordinate the implementation of scholarship and other sponsorship programs according to the needs and capabilities of the two parties.
Accordingly, Vietcombank prioritizes providing good quality services and products at competitive costs suitable to the University. TVU gives priority to using payment services through the payment channels of the bank. Vietcombank accepts TVU students for internships, and recruits, and creates favorable conditions for students to experience the bank’s services.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa said, “Vietcombank is a long-standing bank in Vietnam, providing convenient services to customers as well as a large network of international partners. Over the years, Vietcombank has won many awards in the banking industry and strives to bring many benefits to customers.” The Rector affirmed that this signing ceremony was a premise to improve the cooperation of the two sides to a comprehensive level, with many supporting activities for the two sides, especially for lecturers and students.
Mr. Do Thanh Ly – Deputy Director in charge of Vietcombank Tra Vinh Branch, said that Vietcombank is always interested in cooperation, training, and human resource development, contributing to socio-economic development in general. He affirmed that this signing ceremony is an important step, confirming the close cooperation between the two sides and providing the best resources for the two sides to develop together.
At the signing ceremony, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam – Tra Vinh Branch awarded a scholarship of 200,000,000 VND to Tra Vinh University, supporting students in studying and researching.
