May 18, the contestants start the first preliminary round night on the way to conquering the “Beauty of knowledge” among students at Tra Vinh University in the “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” Contest 2021.
The competition by the Youth Union and Student Union of Tra Vinh University to the Culture and Arts Club preside and coordinate with other units to implement to practically set up achievements to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Tra Vinh University and 20 years of implementing the Community College model.
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, Standing Member of the Provincial Youth Union, Secretary of the TVU Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee, said: With the theme Beauty of knowledge, the competition aims to find the faces of male and female students represents freshness and radiance, especially, honoring intellectual beauty, talent with confidence and dynamism, contributing to raising awareness about “Ethic – Intellectual – Physical – Beautiful” promoting the beauty and image of the male and female students of Tra Vinh University.
The organizers are sure that this year’s competition has more exciting, younger and closer to the students.
Following the success from 2019, the “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” competition 2021 with a whole school scale has launched from March 2021 to June 2021. In particular, the preliminary round holds on May 18 and 20, 2021.
The talent round is ongoing to hold on June 2 and 3, 2021, the final round honors and awards on June 15, 2021, at Hall D5, Campus 1, Tra Vinh University.
In the preliminary round, the contestants must test height and body shape, stage performance skills, self-introductions, and personal views on topics ready prepared by the Organizing Committee. Then, the jury chooses the 20 best candidates to move to the Talent round.
To ensure the spirit of prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, only the organizers, judges, and candidates in the preliminary round can enter the hall and wear a mask duration of the contest (except contestants for stage performance).
The awards of the “Elegant Student – Mister & Miss TVU” competition this year include Miss TVU, 1st Ms. Runner-up, 2nd Ms. Runner-up, Mister TVU, 1st Mr. Runner-up, 2nd Mr. Runner-up, and sub-award for the best talent contestant and the best performance contestant. The total value of prizes and gifts from the Organizing Committee and sponsors is up to 100 million VND.
