Students from Tra Vinh University participate in the national Mechanics Olympics 2023


TVU – Recently, students and faculty members from the Department of Mechanics at Tra Vinh University are participating in the National Mechanics Olympics 2023, held at Vinh Long University of Technology Education.

This is the 33rd edition of the competition jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Vietnam Mechanics Association, and the Vietnam Students Association.

In this edition of the competition, 17 universities from the southern region are participating, with nearly 500 candidates competing in technical mechanics, including 7 traditional essay-based subjects and 5 subjects on computer applications in mechanics. The results of the competition are expected to be announced in June 2023.

Mr. Tran Van Dien, Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics, states that the TVU Mechanics Olympic team consists of 11 participants. Through the competition, students have the opportunity to experience and apply the knowledge they have acquired during their training at the university. Additionally, it allows them to learn, enhance their specialized knowledge, and foster a spirit of academic exploration and scientific research among the students.
