On December 18, 2020, the 17th annual show Get Together 2020 was organized by the School of Foreign Languages at Tra Vinh University.
Over the past 15 years, this year Get Together attract more than 150 students and lecturers of the School of Foreign Languages prepared many performances such as singing, dancing, musical, fashion, to show the cultural characteristics of countries through English, French, Chinese.
At the show, TVU Rector – Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Tiet Khanh said, “Every year students of the School of Foreign Languages organize a show called Get Together under the enthusiastic support of lecturers. Those are everyone’s efforts”. Besides, he also wishes teachers and students a happy Christmas season and a happy new year 2021.
Nguyen Ngoc Thao, student of the English Language said this is a unique, monumental live show with a series of classic songs and works. The students have the opportunity to show their creativity, dynamism, individuality in the repertoire, fluent in dance, impressive fashion costumes, or the ability to enter excellent roles in each musical scene. Most of the songs performed at the show are famous songs like Love Yourself, Lavie en rose, On écrit Sur les Murs, Safe and Sound, etc.
The program has completed from script construction, program arrangement, the idea of more than 14 performances, giving the audience many emotional frames. The fashion show left a vibrant and warm sound, bringing a complete ending to a music party before Christmas 2020 and welcoming the New Year 2021.
The show with the melodies of life, School of Foreign Language’s students sends the message that “Do not expect peace in life, new ups and downs help us more grow up day by day and only through continuous effort and effort, you will achieve the aspirations. Make a dream and try your best to fulfill it. This life is short, so live a meaningful life without any regrets”.
