(TVU) – Teaching Contest was held on Feb 16 and 17, 2016 at School of Education. This competition attracted many students from several classes of pre-school and primary education.
It is annual contest of School of Education in the purpose of students’ intellectual development. This is also good opportunity for them to practice their teaching skills as well as teaching methods and apply them into real working environment.
There are many challenging parts in the contest including self- introduction, teaching knowledge, making a lecture, problem solving, aptitude and eloquence.
“Theory and practice have to be combined. The competition helps the students to develop their teaching compentency and learn new things from teachers and friends. This contest requires students’ creativity, activeness and teaching compentence”, said Ms Lam Thi Bach Tuyet, Dean of School of Education.
School of Education
School of Education is one of 12 schools of TVU. The School offers the three and four year- teacher training courses on preschool education, primary education, secondary school and high school. The school also provides short courses on teaching skills and methods for lecturers at colleges and universities. There are three departments under the school including Music- Painting, Pre-school Education and Primary Education.
