(TVU) – On January 8, Campus I of Tra Vinh University, more than 450 students attend the meeting to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnamese Students and the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2021).
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Chairman of the VSA of Tra Vinh University reviews the tradition of the student day and reports activities being taken place in recent years of the VSA of TVU.
Specifically, the VSA of TVU organizes a series of cultural, artistic, and sports activities such as tournaments for male and female athletics with the distance of 100 meters, chess and badminton; voluntary blood donation; activities associated with learning and researching, creative contests, startups for students, etc. creating a movement of learning and researching that has spread strongly to all students of the university.
On this occasion, the Student Association of Tra Vinh University honors more than 450 typical students with the program ‘Students with Five Good Deeds 2020”. In which, 434 students are honored by TVU and 22 outstanding students are honored with the campaign ‘Vietnamese Students – Meaningful Stories’ in the period of 2018-2020.
