The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam visited Tra Vinh University

TVU – On the afternoon of December 12, Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam, and the Embassy delegation visited and worked at Tra Vinh University (TVU).

To welcome the delegation, there was the presence of Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Minh Hoa, the Rector of Tra Vinh University, and leaders of different units under the university.


Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto – The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam; Ms. Maija Helena Seppala, Public Counselor; and Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong – Special Advisor, Embassy of Finland in Vietnam, worked at Tra Vinh University.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential areas of future cooperation. Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Khanh, Head of the International Cooperation Department, said: “Tra Vinh University is currently cooperating with institutes and schools in Finland on Tampere University’s digital transformation project (2021-2023), as well as looking for more opportunities to cooperate between the units.”

Through the visit of Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto and the working group, Tra Vinh University proposed several potential future cooperation fields, such as human resource training and digital transformation, building a quality education model at Tra Vinh School of Pedagogical Practice and training in entrepreneurship and skills for students at Tra Vinh University.

Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto showed his interest and commitment in establishing new collaborative initiatives, aware of the potential for mutual benefits and enhanced academic endeavors.

On this occasion, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Rector of Tra Vinh University, thanked the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam, Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto, and the delegation for the visit to Tra Vinh University. He hoped that Mr. Keijo Ensio Norvanto and the delegation members would consider the possible cooperation fields between the two sides in the near future.
