TVU – From March 31, 2023, to June 9, 2023, the “Entrepreneurship Idea Incubation Program” of 2023 takes place at the Trà Vinh Province Business Incubator. The program aims to support students with entrepreneurial ideas and help them develop startup projects.
This program is a two-month fast-track training program, and feasible projects have the opportunity to continue participating in the “Startup Academy” program organized by the Trà Vinh Province Business Incubator.
The program supports 15 ideas/projects from 45 students. Successful startup entrepreneurs in the province and members of the Advisory and Entrepreneurship Support Team from Trà Vinh University share their experiences. The program covers eleven topics, including inspiring entrepreneurial ideas, connecting ideas and finding teammates, digital transformation in the startup process, introducing the business model – BMC, understanding customers, identifying business channels and building strategies, revenue and profit streams, financial aspects, refining the business model and prototype, connecting with mentors, choosing the business entity and building brand identity, and pitching skills – fundraising presentations.
Additionally, the idea/project groups receive knowledge and practical experience sharing from startup businesses, based on their own entrepreneurial journeys. The program serves as a bridge for passionate individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations to find qualified and diverse teams from various fields such as Economics, Law, English Language, Education, Agriculture-Aquaculture, E-commerce, Business Administration, Healthcare, and more.
At the end of the program, the 15 ideas are encouraged to participate in the university-level student startup competition organized by Trà Vinh University, as well as higher-level competitions organized by the Trà Vinh Provincial Youth Union, Department of Science and Technology of Trà Vinh Province, VCCI Can Tho, among others. Following that, the four most feasible projects will be selected to join the “Startup Academy” program organized by the Trà Vinh Province Business Incubator.
Student Thạch Thị Ngọc Dung expresses, “I learned about the program through the startup club and entrepreneurship events group announcements. The program provides an opportunity to learn practical knowledge and gain experiences from inspiring startup stories. I am particularly impressed with choosing the business entity and building brand identity, pitching skills – fundraising presentations, and the business model – BMC. After completing the program, my team and I will further refine our project and participate in startup competitions while seeking resources to implement our project.”
