TVU – On April 18th, Tra Vinh University hosted a reception and exchange on innovation with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) and BK Holding – Investment and Development Company Limited.
The working group consisted of Dr. Phạm Hùng Tiến, Deputy Country Director of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF); Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trần Văn Bình, Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of BK Holdings; and Mr. Phạm Tuấn Hiệp, Incubation Director of BK Holdings and Manager of BK Fund.
The delegation was received by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Diệp Thanh Tùng, Vice Rector of Tra Vinh University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Thái Sơn, Director of the Institute for Resource Development; Ths. Nguyễn Văn Vũ An, Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, VTU; and Mr. Lương Nguyễn Duy Thông, Director of Green University One Member Limited Liability Company, directly under the University of Science and Technology.
Mr. Phạm Tuấn Hiệp presented the innovation system at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, BK Holdings, and shared the general construction roadmap for commercializing specific research results, which includes 01 month for starting the project, 03 months for optimizing commercial products, business models, teams, groups, fundraising, technology transfer, and sales, and 09 months of accompanying revenue increase, partner connection, investment, joint venture, and Spin-off configuration.
Dr. Phạm Hùng Tiến and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Trần Văn Bình discussed and proposed suitable options and models at TVU based on Project 844 – Project “Supporting the national innovative startup ecosystem until 2025” of the Ministry of Science and Technology. They also assessed the potential of TVU in the Mekong Delta region and the role of Chairman of the network of Innovation Centers in creating and starting a business at regional universities and colleges.
The parties aim to cooperate and synchronously carry out tasks and topics related to science, technology, and innovation to promote the aspirations of entrepreneurship and innovation among students nationwide.
