(TVU) – On January 7, 2022, 266 “Five Good Merits” students have been honored at Tra Vinh University in 2021. The ceremony has attracted the participation of over 200 students through face-to-face and online meetings.
At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, has given special congratulations to honored students. In addition, it is honor to have the participants from the Executive Committee of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union, Tra Vinh University Youth Union, Tra Vinh University Student Union, and other clubs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Nhat Thanh, the President of Tra Vinh University Student Union, said the “Five Good Merits” activity, which has attracted a large number of students, requires students to meet 5 important criteria including ethics, learning, physical strength, volunteering, and integration.”
In addition, the Executive Committee of Tra Vinh University Student Union has suggested Vietnam Student Union annually reward individuals with outstanding achievements in learning and researching for effective encouragement.
The honor of “Five Good Merits” has been given to 266 students, including 2 ones with the central honor are Tran Minh Nam (a student of 2018 Accounting Class) and Tran Minh Nhut (a student of 2017 Environmental Technology Class).
Dr. Nguyen Minh Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice-Rector of Tra Vinh University, shows his expectation of the promotion of this significant activity with more honored students in the upcoming years.
There has been also the award for various activities on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Vietnamese Student Union.
